Bayberry is a community of ranch homes with a clubhouse, pool(s) and summer day camp located in the Northend ( its in the "Wykagyl" section, 10804 zip-code). The area is totally private with no through streets running through it, thus, no through traffic to deal with. It is surrounded by protected woodland areas including the Leatherstocking trail to the south, and Sheldrake Lake/ Nature Preserve to the North and East. Pinebrook Tennis center is also located just to the north.

The homes were originally built in the 60's and for the most part share the same basic, general design and layout. Many homes have been expanded, renovated and restyled so there is more variety today than in the past. Individuals have also been purchasing homes on desirable lots and demolishing them in favor of entirely new homes.

There are a few communities of ranch homes in the Northend . . . their names being Stratton Hills and Daisy Farms. They lie within the scarsdale 10583 zip-code covered area of NR. They aren't particularly well-known "by name" and do not have community resources such as a pool etc.

There is a section of New Rochelle that has a Scarsdale zip code with a club house and a community pool. The zip code is 10583.

Perhaps you are thinking of the Bayberry community in New Rochelle. It does have a community pool and clubhouse, but it does not have a Scarsdale zip code. There are some areas of New Rochelle that have a Scarsdale post office, but are in the New Rochelle school district--Wilmot Woods is one of those. Wilmot Woods has alot of Ranches and is Scarsdale Zip with New Rochelle schools. They do not have a pool but it is a wonderful community.
