The taxes are not bad compared to other areas but you might have a hard time finding a house in that price range. The realiters have inflated the house prices in this area over the past few years and a house that should be going for 85,000 is listed for 185,000. They are pushing prices up to try to compare with down state prices and at the same time are pushing up the tax base. Not to mention larger profits for them. This is making it almost imposible for a local family to buy a house. Maybe they should push up workers pay to match the pay people are getting down state. Just a thought ! !!!!
