Be very careful about taking answers on this blog as legal advice. Realtors responding substantively here are on very thin ethical and legal ice, unless they are lawyers.
First get the full text of the easement. Easements are for various purposes, and convey a very wide variety of rights. The title company you're going to use to insure your new home will be able to provide full text at no charge. And should have a staff attorney who can explain the consequences of the easement so you understand them. He will not be "your lawyer," and will not be responsible for his comments. But at least they will be informed comments.
If this fails, send me the full text and I'll tell you what I think. I also will not be "your lawyer," and will not be responsible for my advice. This is just a blog after all. If you want an attorney-client relationship you will need to engage a lawyer.; probably cost you just a couple of hundred bucks, and may be worth if for the peace of mind.
All that said, the truth is the easement probably is not going to cause you any grief. Enjoy your new home!
