Hi Giselle,

Most owners do not want to finance. And if they do, they will check your credit as carefully as a bank. So if you have a low credit score, you should not be buying a house right now. Work on getting your credit improved to the point where you can apply to a bank just like everyone else. Again the vast majority of sellers need the money from the proceeds of sale to move on in their lives, and are not interested in offering financing. Limiting your home selection only to those sellers who will offer financing is not realistic in this economy.

Good luck!
