I'm buying a foreclosure and I would like to have a survey ..... could some one recommend me a certified surveyor in Chicago area?

FIRST ANSWER
Preferred Survey is great.
You can find their charges at:
http://www.psisurvey.com/New_Customer.htm
If you're doing work to the exterior of building, like a porch or an addition, you may have to provide the city with a stamped copy of the survey. It's always a good idea to request more than one original in this case.
