Home Buying in 75039>Question Details

Michelle Ara…, Renter in Outside U.S.

I'll be relocating to Dallas. Between Frisco and Irving, where should we begin looking?

Asked by Michelle Arasin-hodge, Outside U.S. Mon Jun 17, 2013

My fiance lives in Frisco and my job will be in Irving. he works from home or on the road so location isn't as critical to him. We both have teenagers, his son is enrolled in Frisco HS. My boys are VERY into competitive sports (football, basketball and baseball), so I need to ensure they have access. Not sure yet if we will rent or buy - depends on how fast my house in Boulder, CO sells.

I'd probably stay with Frisco.
Dependis on your price range.
May depend on if you want to rent or sell.
The places between are Irving, Coppell, Carrollton, Plano.

Hi Michelle,

Since you can work from home and your sons are already in Frisco HS. I would recommend staying in Frisco for the school as Irving's school is not as well known to be as good as Frisco. unless you are moving to Coppell area.

You can search for homes in Frisco at http://www.findyourtexashome.com/frisco. You can also email me if you have any other questions at dixondfw@gmail.com

Hi Michelle,

I am a Premier Relocation agent with Ebby Halliday Realtors and have in Residential Real Estate over twenty years I recommend that we meet to discuss your terms ,be sure that your Lender Approval is in order. Secondly my advice would be consider leasing as a short term option until your home sells in Colorado. In fact I just sold a home in Frisco last week...great schools and location and is also family oriented community. If you need some additional information regarding leases our may just have some general questions regarding your lease options vs. buying I would be happy to discuss your the best solution for your housing needs at this time.

Thank you for your consideration
Best Regards,
