What is the best process to narrow down my choices before visiting the area to visit and viewing properties?
Hello John,
I hope you are having a great Wednesday!
What part of Connecticut are you from? I am from Waterbury and grew up around Southbury,Woodbury area.
When will you be coming to the area?
I would like to send you some listing before you come, with the community information as well.
Each community in the Disney area offer an array of amenities with corresponding costs.
Here are some photoshows some of the communties in the area.

Hi John,
I specialize in Short term rental properties and would gladly help you in the purchase of such property. There are many different townhome communities in the Disney area but only a few are in a true gated resort. Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms and Encantada are three Resorts that consist of townhomes with a splash pool and all allow short term rental.
I have helped many families find the perfect vacation home. Please take a look at my website http://www.windsorhillsresortsales.com to learn a little more about me.
I look forward to working for you.

There are many townhome communities and communities with townhomes in the short term rental area. I suggest starting by picking one REALTOR familiar with the area and forwarding your interests and criteria such as price range, preferred number of bedrooms, etc. to him or her. He or she can then send you all active listings in the area meeting those criteria for your consideration. As suggested, if you do not plan on paying all cash, you'll want to speak with your bank or another lender to get pre-qualified first.
Let me know if I can help.

Hi John,
To help narrow your search down, you should consider what price range your looking to spend on a townhome. Next you want to consider the size of the townhome (2 bed vs 3 bed). The location of your townhome is important as vacationers want to be close to the theme parks.
There are quite a few communities close to the parks that are new, decent in size that are very affordable. If you need to finance, you should be pre-qualified before you start your search to see what you are able qualify for.
Once you can define your goals, this will help narrow down your search critera and make your selection of townhomes much easer. If you visit http://www.thefloridalivingteam.com, you can set up a townhome search for the Disney vacation area.
Best,

John:
Good plan. Must be a resort community with pool and other ammenities for it to work as a short -term investments. There are still foreclosures available to meet your needs.
Check my website, http://www.SearchKissimmeeHomes.com to do your own search or if you prefer I can pull homes that match your needs and e-mail them directly to you. I have been selling resort homes for several yeras and live in the middle of the Disney resort area.
