Hi Jakcjjoh,

I think the best way for you to find out if you need to sell your current home would be for you to speak with a lender and let them qualify you. This way they can gather all the neccessary info and make a determination. If you would like I can refer you to a great lender.

Getting pre-qualified is your first step for sure. You may not have to sell your current home in order to buy a second one. I would recommend reaching out to Shaun Graham of Southeast Mortgage right here in the Lawrenceville, Georgia Community.

Good Evening:

Your first step is to talk to a lender. I have 5 lenders I refer to my clients so they can select whom they want to work with. Give them your scenario of what you want to do and let them answer your questions about pre-qualifying for a loan.

If they recommend selling your home first, my company is nation-wide and I can refer you to a reputable agent/realtor in your area. Together we can work out the sale of your property there and the purchase of a home here to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Give me a call or send me your email. Look forward to working with you

This would depend on your current financial capabiliites. I suggest contacting a good lender here in Ga.
If you can produce a long term lease agreement on your current home that will cover the mortgage, then you may be able to go ahead and buy. there are several types of bridge loans. best to contact a good mortgage lender.
