Hello Felix! If you are relocating with a transfer from work, and your current mortgage is not FHA, than Yes, you may purchase the property using FHA. I have highlighted the area that pertains to you. Reads as follows,
"A. Relocations. If the borrower is relocating and re-establishing residency in another area not within reasonable commuting distance from the current principal residence, the borrower may obtain another mortgage using FHA insured financing and is not required to sell the existing property covered by a FHA-insured mortgage. The relocation need not be employer mandated to qualify for this exception. Further, if the borrower returns to an area where he or she owns a property with an FHA-insured mortgage, it is not required that the borrower re-establish primary residency in that property in order to be eligible for another FHA insured mortgage." Please feel free to contact me with any further questions. I would happy to answer your questions.
Warmest regards, Cookie
Hi Felix,
Great home choice. Excellent buy too. It is still available for now and I would recommend getting your pre-qualification letter for your FHA loan ready now so we can make an offer for you as soon as possible. I will be happy to help you discuss the perameters of your offer in a more private setting when you are ready to do so. This property wont last long I can tell you that. All offers must be accompanied with an asset letter or pre-qual. letter depending on whether you are a cash or finance buyer. Foreclosures are going for over list now and there are usually multiple offers. However, I have been very successful in acquiring properties for my buyers by making the write offer the first time whether we are offering cash or needing to finance.
