I like Loxahatchee, though the gravel roads make it hard to keep the vehicles clean. I know roads like Citrus

grove blvd and a few others are paved, but the majority of streets are that dusty gravel. How is it decided which roads get paved, and are homes on paved roads preferable to those on gravel?...interested home shopper

If you like to keep your vehicle clean Jason Loxahatchee is not for you, There are plenty of gated pristines comunities in Palm Beach County for you to look for your dream home, the only thing you would have to worry about is dodging the sprinklers.

Loxahatchee is an equestrian community. People have horses and other animals. The further west you go the more dirt roads you will find. If you are looking for paved roads then I would recommend looking at part of West Palm Beach that borders Loxahatchee and has paved roads with acre homes.

Unpaved roads may have a good reason for being there, e.g. for an equestrian property, they are easier on the horses feet if they do NOT have the gravel or asphalt. If you know of a particular property you want more information on , I'd be happy to find out why an unpaved road runs by that one. See my website to SEARCH THE FL MLS, and go to EXPLORE THE AREA for photos and descriptions of many communities in the area that you might be interested in. I'd be happy to be of help finding you a property. MARILYN JACOBS - marilynfjacobs@gmail.com.
