Condos and homes each have benefits. With a condo, you do have monthly maintenance fees which can go up but the association takes care of the exterior of the building, grounds, building insurance and often times cable and water. Condos often have amenities such as a clubhouse and pool. If you are new to the area, condos are a great way to meet new friends.

Homes provide you with the benefit of having privacy and being able to barbeque outside. Single family homes usually have a garage for your vehicle and provide you with additional storage. A home does require more maintenance -- mowing of the lawn, maintaining the exterior and roof of the home. There are some maintained home communities where you have the benefits of having your lawn mowed and your landscaping maintained but you own the home and have the privacy of a private home.

It is truly a matter of personal preference on whether you should purchase a condo or home.

Feel free to call or email me with further questions. We would be happy to assist you with your purchase.
