Gastonia is indeed a good place to invest. Home prices are much lower than in neighboring Charlotte with several bedroom communities such as Belmont and Mt. Holly seeing an increase in values. Gastonia is located in between the Catawba River, Lake Wylie and Crowders Mountain. It is a great place for outdoor enthusiast with the National Whiite Water Center very near by. The City of Gastonia is investing heavily to rebuild it's downtown and there are several new high end developments being built around the lake area. As the city finds itself in a post textile era, I think Gastonia is poised to be a great investment opportunity.
