Do you know why your score is so low? Do you have a minimum of two revolving accounts? You may need to open a secured visa, I recommend one with Capital One and one with US Bank as they both report the accounts as un-secured to the credit bureaus. If you need further help, please do not hesitate to contact me. We help improve credit scores so you can qualify for a home mortgage. I work closely with many brokers..

James:
I would be pleased to help you with this. It is possible. I work with a loan broker who funds VA loans who can qualify you so we know your price range. It will take about 15/20 minutes by phone and then we can look for homes in your price range. There may even be other options available for you, lets get out there and check thing out. Feel Free to call me anytime I look forward to working with you. 775-781-3985

James ... Meeting with a good loan officer is the best first step for you. Depending on where you got you credit score quote it may be correct or incorrect, many of the online services don't give an accurate picture.. You may also have some compensating factors that may make a difference. Start with a good lender and go from there. If you need recommendations I'll be happy to provide them.

Absolutely we love Veterans in Carson City.. Let me get you in contact with a loan Broker who will access the best loan for you. Once you are qualified we can begin looking for a home in the area that interests you the most.. VA loans are a little higher interest rate as there is no required down and no PMI, still it is an excellent time for you to buy as interest rates are at an all time low. With a VA loan your interest rate is fixed which is a very good thing.
Please feel free to contact me anytime and we will begin looking for your new home.

James you should first meet with a locl and trusted loan officer who completes VA loans. They can look at all of your financials and credit report to see what is keeping your scrore down and how you can improve it. Without doing that step anyone is guessing. Good luck with working things out
