I have no idea about reality trac. Some of these homes look great. but dont know what is involved with this.

RealtyTrac is a site that tracks homes in the process of foreclosure. Just because it is on the site does not mean it is for sale, or will be. When you see a price so LOW that you wonder "WOW", it may only be a 2nd mtg. There are many options to looking for a home to live in or as an investment property. Whether you are starting from short sales, to REO's or even buying at the court house, get great counsel before and during the process.

FIRST ANSWER

Find the home you like and then have an Agent pull it up. Compare the price on realty trac to the REAL sales price.
Realty Trac does not list the sale price of the home. Just one of the leins.
Have a good Agent help you out. Remember that the Seller pays the Buting Agent so the service is FREE for the buyer!
