if someone could tell me a little more about the area and some good locations for purchasing a home in the area. Would be looking for a 4 bedroom, prefer a newer home (built in the last 10 years or newer), would like to be able to have at least a half acre. We're currently in the process of getting ready to sell our house regardless what happens with this position, so we would be looking to stay around $250k or less. Is this possible in that area? Good schools would be a must too.

Hi Jason,
Harlan, IA has the best school district in Iowa. Harlan or Elk Horn are your closest areas. I have a friend who is selling a remodeled church in Harlan. I know you want more space, but take a look.
