My suggestion is to go to a local Realtor familiar with that area. The Realtor will then go to your friend's house to get the necessary information to do a CMA (Comparative Market Analyis) based on current similar inventory within that town, houses under contract and houses closed within the last three months. The reason you want to know the similar houses closed within the last three months is because housing prices have changed since June. I hope this information helps.
