I don't have great credit but I am looking to settle in a nice with good schools and low crime. I am open to any location within the United
States. Any ideas where I can get the best deals within those parameters? I really appreciate all recommendations.
How do you plan on paying for this home in a nice neighborhood with good schools and low crime? Do you have a job? Have you spoken to a lender who can lend in all US States since that is your search criteria at this time? I have one that does. Why don't you begin by calling them and getting pre-qaulified, so that when you do finally pick a location to live in, you'll know what to tell the lucky realtor who gets your business what price you can afford and if you will be able to even get a loan so as not to get your hopes up or waste anyone's time. This lender can write loans in all US states so why not begin there:

Hello, in order for an agent to answer your question and take you seriously you need to help out the agent and choose a state, a city and then you can speak to an agent within that city and narrow down neighborhoods. But if you are so general as to say anywhere in the whole United States, agents will run fast. So do some homework on your own and understand where you want to be on the map and an agent will be happy to assist. you.
