Hildebrandp, Home Owner in Rock Hill, SC

I claimed my house and now it is listed as "off the market". I would like to change the status to "for sale by owner". Any?

Hi Hildebrandp,

Trulia does not list For Sale By Owner properties. The listings on Trulia flow through from the MLS - which only Realtors can input data into.

If you are a home owner and wish to submit your listing to Trulia for sale, please note that Trulia does not accept FSBO (FOR SALE BY OWNER) listing submissions at this time. However if you are working with a full-service or flat-fee listing agent or broker, he or she can submit your listing.

Hi Hildebrandp! To answer your question, this website pulls the listings from MLS syndicates, so if your home was listed by a Realtor and pulled from the market, i.e. your listing was cancelled or expired, your listing is no longer actively in MLS, and your home can no longer be featured on Trulia, as it's a benefit of using a Realtor. Have you tried http://www.forsalebyowner.com? Craigslist has proven to be somewhat successful as well. I hope this helps! Good Luck!

If it was listed by a Realtor and you claimed your home from the Realtors old ad you may need to build your own ad. The Realtor would have changed the status on his or her ad to off market. It would not be left online for someone else to use.
