Asked by NHB75019, Dallas, TX Sat Mar 9, 2013

I am trying to find a new home in Coppell ISD for under 650K. I am aware of 4 new builders Toll, Darling, DW and Cambridge. Cambridge and Darling does fit my family needs (3 kids 1 dog = big yard) and Toll and DW seems to 800K .

There are options....
There will also be options soon in Flower Mound.
Of course there are a lot of options in Frisco.

We should sit down and talk about what you want, what is important, where you work, and a host of other factors and we can try to point you in the right direction.

Another popular area right now is La Villita, Riverside, Lakes of Las Colinas area.

Elementary in CFB ISD is exemplary. Then think about where these kids will go to middle and high school. Great kids with a great set of basics will excel in any school. Plus you have to think in 15 years will the high schools even look like they do today with the new technology. Think of Khan University model....or New Tech High in Coppell. The days of 4000 student high schools may be over or obsolete anyway if that is your concern.

Since you folks are asking to look in Frisco/Lewisville, I guess the answer is that I should not look for a new home on coppell.
I appreciate the input - NHB

If you go to my web page and Click on home search you can enter your search to see what is available in Coppell. I can also set you up to receive listings if you are not already working with a realtor, and we can also go visit new builders.

Coppell just really doesn't have any new growth right now. If you are looking for a nice selection of new cosntruction you will have to come to Frisco.

Is that too far West for you?

Frisco currently has 8 new subdivisions ranging in price from $300's to 1 million depending on where you want to live. Frisco also has 5 new subdivisions that just broke ground and will be pre-selling in the next 2-3 months.

I would be happy to help you with your new home search! Please feel free to text, email or call.
