I am thinking of selling a vacation home and buying a new home. I am some what torn between Lake nona and Windermere? Which area is a better investmen

Asked by Katherine, Windermere, FL Sat Sep 15, 2012

I am extremely familiar with Windermere and love it there it is a great established area. I am not familiar with Lake Nona I have driven by and it looks okay I didnt see any stores nearby and it seemed a little far from the places im usually around (millenia mall, prime outlets, downtown orlando, and winter park.)

What ever you do, don't be foolish as to how you sell and then buy another property.

Hi Katherine,
Lake Nona is new and exciting and being built up quickly, while Windermere is well-know, established and considered very prestigious. Both have advantages. The most important factor is which will make you feel most comfortable and feel more like "home" to you. Both would be considered good solid investments.

Feel free to search for properties in both areas from my website: http://www.OrlandoRealEstateLady.com. If you have questions, you can contact me at 407-463-6869 or at LeslyeH@att.net, or through my website. I will be happy to show you around both areas so that you can get a better feel for them.

Kind Regards,

Hello Katherine,

Please feel free to call me at 407-405-1225 to discuss. Both areas are great. I actually live and work in Windermere, so I may be a little biased!
