I am thinking of purchasing a $2 million house in either Chappaqua OR Bedford. Generally, which house would

be a better investment if I want to sell the house in about 6 years? Thank you.

They are both beautiful towns and either one would be a great investment. Please feel free to explore my website. You can check out the towns, get statistics, market reports and much more.

Only you can make that decision and opinions from others are just that. If you are not familiar with either area take the time and check out what may be important--look at shops, dine at a local eatery, transportation, etc. , then take it from there.

Chappaqua has a better proximity to Manhattan but generally has higher taxes. Bedford covers a wide area and has a nationwide reputation for being an upscale place to live. Chappaqua was not really as well known until the Clintons moved there. If you want a larger property, Bedford is a better choice. If you want proximity to Manhattan then Chappaqua. If you want both, come to Armonk!

I would say Chappaqua since it's much closer to Manhattan.

We plan to live there and perhaps sell in about 6-10 years.
