The amount you'll get for a rental property will depend on the size of the home, it's location and it's amenities. Weekly rentals on the Island can start at about $1,000 and go up from there. The closer to the beach, or water views bring more.

Check some of the rental websites for more information, since many are not listed in the MLS.

If your looking at homes on Long Beach Island, ask if there is any rental history. That's information an agent can usually get from the owner, or other owners in the area.
