There are currently 22 active listings in Cambridge in your price range. Like most of Greater Boston, Cambridge has several distinct neighborhoods. In your price range, you will mostly find 1 bedroom homes in Central Square, Kendall Square(near MIT) or West Cambridge.

I'd be happy to send you more specific information. Somerville might also be a possibility and would probably expand you into the 2 bedroom class of homes.

I am originally from PA - my family still lives there so i visit very often. I see that you are near Bethlehem. I will have to recommend you to my network that lives out there.

Right now I am working with a mother from Maine who is buying her daughter a condo why she is in school in this exact price range so I know exactly how to help if you are interested. We just went through all the options so I am ready to give you some guidance/eyes in boston if you need it.

As a Realtor yourself, you know that we need a little bit more info. But you CAN find a condo in Cambridge for the price range you mention (even in Harvard Square!). Of course, the square footage will change drastically depending where you need to be.
