As much as we might wish it to be true, it is NOT!
There are NO foreclosure home, or home going into foreclosure for $1000.00.
There are advertisements and scams everywhere. Buyer beware!
Look for a good agent in the area you wish to buy, that will be your best investment!
Best of Luck!!

Where are you seeing these incredible deals?
What website?
What brokerage is advertising them?
As you know, websites like Trulia and Zillow are suitable for entertainment purposes only. I sure you have been entertained.

You are correct to question these listings. They are provided by a seperate company, realty trac. They want the consumer to buy the foreclosure listing information. A realtor can provide the exact same info without charging a fee.
99.99% of us Brokers and Agents agree that this listing information is deceiving and shouldn't be listed on Trulia. However, they have to make a buck too and I'm sure there is some sort of advertising agreement between the two. Anyway, Trulia can be a great site and atleast we get to answer many great questions by buyers like you. So we can give Trulia a pass on this issue.

If you are searching for something specific, I can do the work for you and send listings as they come to market. Important if you are aearching for REO/foreclosures.
