as you saw below it typically does matter the program in which you are trying to get financing through as to which homes you can qualify for. I have done 3 foreclosure sales in the past 3 months and would be happy to help you. Unlike most agents I do not have a large name broker taking a large split of my commission so I can afford to rebate you 20% of my commission as just a little extra incentive. please call me direclty at 214-682-0598 or email rj.avery@att.net

It just depends. Some of the programs are very specific as to what you buy. Many want you to buy a home that is in good condition. Often that will exclude foreclosures as often they are not in the best of shape. We just need to take a look at the first time home buying program that you have choosen and see what their requirements are.

Hi Kathy,

HUD has a program with only $100 down right now. There are many homes on the market in your price range that qualify. Feel free to call me or email me and I'll be happy to send you the info.

Hi Kathy.
You can buy a foreclosure. No restrictions there.
But!!
A lot of these foreclosures will not pass inspection and most banks won't fix them to pass. So keep that in mind...... While you can buy a foreclosure, it just has to pass inspection.
