Your question is quite broad . . . You can purchace a home in Manalpan ranging from $550k to $1.1M that is 20 years or less young or a home that is constructed from year 2000 or new construction that is $530,000 to $1.8M and most likley your representative agent will say, rah, rah . . whatever you choose . . . as a comimssion is due whatever choce you make.

Frankly, that with which you choose is based upon your personal circumstances (i.e., I am currently working with Trulia client who has determined that he is "not a handyman" and prefers to purchase a property in full disclosure in the Marlbora/Manalpan area that nets him the least amount of maintenace). You may/may not prefer older construction, but in fulll disclosure you need to know the pluses and minsues of like-kind propeties.

The average list price for a 3200 Square foot house in Manalapan runs between $550,000 - 700,000
The average being $620,000

There are plenty of homes available in the $400,000 - 460,000 price range, closer to 1800 -2200 square ft -
Homes that are 3200 square ft, move into the next catagory.
