There are always homes available around here very inexpensively. Some are for sale by owner. Some are very inexpensive - only $8000 for one house that I know of (2 or 3 bedrooms). I did a search for you on realtor.com. There is just NOT a lot showing on there in Childress. HOWEVER, there was one listing that showed to be a HUD home and the address is : 300 6Th SE St
Childress, TX 79201. It shows to be represented by the Austin Realty Group at: (806)467-900. It is listed at $32,000 and shows to be a 3/2. The HUD number for this property is # 494-265460.
