David,

There is a gorgeous area of North Fort Myers Between Bayshore and among others Nalle Grade Rd, which has many such farms and properties with over 10 acres with large homes. Here is a link of a few listings out there: View Listings:

This area is worth a look and ,surprisingly, its not that far from the Center of Fort Myers by I-75. I do know many have horses there. My favorite rd is around Nalle Grade and Slater. Let me know if you want more info on these properties or other listings. This area is breathtaking.
LLoyd.

There are many beautiful horse farms in the Sarasota area. If you are interested in Sarasota (that's where I lived before moving to Miami) I can refer you to a real estate agent there.

She may also be able to guide you in the right direction.

Hi David,
We have several great areas to have property and horses, it all depends on your preference and how many acres you want. Based on what you put in your question, Alva would probably be the best place to start. It would all depend on how much you wanted to spend. If you would email me your price preferences, I will send out an email property pictures and information. I live in the area that you would be most interested and would be happy to help you in any way that I can!

Hi David,
I came up with 21 properties that meet your criteria in Southwest Florida . E-mail me if you would like me to e-mail them to you nancy.doyle1@comcast.net or call 239-209-2237. You can also search the local MLS without giving your information on my website. www.nancydrealtor.net Let me know if I can help you in anyway.

Nothing on our MLS for the southeastern part of the state but in Southwest Ranches, I found a 17+ acres ranch with 1 x 8-stall barn and 1 x 10 stall barn complete with tack room, wash racks etc. There is a fully updated 1/1 guest house. The property is fenced and cross-fenced for equestrian activities. The house is 4 beds/3-1/2 bath and 3,100 sq. ft. and its located on one of the most beautiful streets in SW Ranches.

It's listed at $7.9 million! Absolutely gorgeous!

Let me know if you're interested, I'd be happy to send you more information on this beautiful ranch, including pictures.
