We have many REO properties in Hidden Valley lake (hvla.com) one is at $88K that needs work. Hidden Valley lake is a gated community and rentals are at an all time high. We are about 30 minutes from calistoga in Lake county, ca off hwy 29. We are a large gated community with great schools and that is the attraction to this area. Many people are loosing there homes and looking for rentals. I am listing many REO's from Countyrwide which are moving very quickly. So far this year the area has sold 36 homes and 90% of them have been REO or short sales, 26 of them are under $199K. the home prices continue to drop until they get offers.
