Another suggestion is to select an agent who actually lives in Culver City. There are a handful of good agents out there who, like myself, have lived in Culver City for 10 years and counting. Not only will these agents know the history of the area, but will also be familiar with city services, the school district, neighborhood associations, business developments and more.

There are listings of agents here on Trulia that work in the West Los Angeles and Culver City area. Why not take a look at their profiles and call a couple of them? If the agents are experienced and professional and work with buyers that's a plus. It's also helpful to get references from them.
