I agree with Matthew ~ Mount Dora is a top-notch area near Orlando & much more. My lakefront home is currently listed for sale & might be a nice bet for you to accomodate your day-care service needs. Please call me if you are interested in further information. Vivian Katz, CIPS, 407-367-9883

I moved here 10 years ago from the North East. I lived in Kissimmee, did not like it, Clermont was gppd, and then I discovered the joys of living in Mt Dora (The New England of the South) in Lake county. I could not have asked for more. It is an artisic community, with many gallerioes, antique shops and a small eclectic downtown. Ther is always something going on there on the weekends. You can buy resales, or build know homes to you liking as there are many New Home builders in the town. It is on Lale Dora and offers a true area of tranquility. I will stay there until I retire, then it off to Italy in about 10years or less. m2everett@comcast.net

I have a three bedroom lakefront house in Deltona, a commuter town with large families. Daycare should be a good business there. The lake is spring fed, not dependent on groundwater. So, the lake is a nice ski lake all year long, in wet and dry seasons. If you are interested, email me at bobnixaicp@yahoo.com
The house is rented, and you can occupy it in January 2009. We relocated, first to another city in Florida, and now to Texas. We have decided to sell now that we are out of state. Sat May 10 2008, 13:35

Ree,
Everything you have heard so far is "solid information". Are there any special needs that you will need? Have you seen any areas that you have liked? Being out of the area can be very overwhelming, my team is here to support you through the entire process, including finding a place for the daycare center. I am anxiously awaiting your reply. Ree,
There are many choices in Orlando. I have lived here since 1991 and am a Florida native ( Originally from Miami). There are communities west of Orlando such as Clermont ( which is growing and failry newer) This area has some hills which is not that common in Florida. Also on the east side there is Lake Nona ( also newer area). This is going to be something special in that the Lake Nona area is going to be home to many new Health related companies. Burnham Institute,The New Orlando VA hospital, The new UCF Medical school and a host of other medical related companies. The nickname is "Medical city". There will certainly be opportunity for growth there. This area is also cloes to the Waterford,Avalon Area which is bustling and growing as well. Let me know if I can be of service. Ree, I tell you the best location in Orlando to invest is in the Lake Nona Area of Orlando located in the Southeast part of Orlando. Lake Nona is going to be home of the new University of Central Florida Medical School and Medical Research Park. This area is projected by city and county officials to have the most economic impact on Central Florida since Disney! Currently here is only one daycare center that is in construction. There is 4 projected schools to be built in the next 2-5 years in this area. Homes range from $275,000 to $4,000,000. www.learnlakenona.com is a good starting point.
