I am looking at some prices on houses in Deltona, Florida. I notice that some have been sold recently for $130,000 up to 190,000 all in the last few
years. Now I see they are selling for around $50,000. Why is this? Just the economy? Here is one for example....2566 Delaware Rd Deltona FL 32738 ...It sold for 197,000 as it states in public records...and now selling again on zillow for $49,900..I am confused. Please explain why this is...Thank you!
It's market pricing! When the real estate market crashed Deltona and most of West Volusia County took a big hit. Short sales and REO properties set the market pricing. There are some fantastic deals in this area. To top it off part of Deltona is considered USA area which is available for 100% financing. It's a good time to buy here and I am staying busy. The market really went down and lost alot of value since 2007 in Deltona. Houses are ranging between 40K and up now depending on the size, location, and condition of the home. Now is a great time to buy a home in the Deltona area. Home prices will begin to rise again in the future but not as fast as they did in 06 and 07.
