Cristi,
I work there. Olney is to yesteryear as Takoma Park is to the 60's. It retains the small town charm of the days past. Everyone seems to know one another. It is a wonderful place. If you move here, you may stay a lot longer than 5 years. You just have to try the Cajun Shrimp at the Olney Grill...it is to die for.

Money magazine had an article this past year on the top places to live in the US. Olney was rated #16!

You will build equity no matter what.
Olney Mills in Olney Md is a great area-close to shopping, schools
and bus lines. I know the area well being a native Washingtonian.

Cristi, no one can forecast the market in future, but you will never go wrong on purchasing a Real Estate and selling it in future! Why? Because your property will appreciate minimum of 4-8% annually. However, the best time to sell your property is in the Selling Market. Why? Because the Demand of home buyers are greater than supply of homes.

As we are moving toward the uptrend in Real Estate market, if you buy now and sell in 2 to 5, you should gain equity in your property.

Don't wait to buy a Real Estate, Buy Real Estate and wait!

Cheers,

The plus is that today's market is so-so. In 2-5 years you should have no problem as the market will have stabilized and the inventory of home wil be diminished. If you are in need of financing, I can help you.
