Many areas are good now. Rents are high in Columbus. You should do well. Use an investment Realtor who knows returns, areas, and CAP RATES.

Depending on your price range, I would suggest OSU, Clintonville, Olde Towne East, Short North, and German Village areas. If you are not currently working with a Realtor, feel free to contact me for a free personalized MLS website and consultation - 614-729-9050.

Hi Scott, one other area worth mentioning is the North OSU area. Great for student housing. Thanks@

Depending on your budget, Clintonville is a great area for the purchase of investment properties. I have clients who curently hold quite a few rental properties in this area and generally, they have no trouble finding new and prospective tenants. Many of their current tenants are long term, 2+ years or more. It's close to OSU, Battelle, downtown, and convenient to both I-71 and SR-315. For a list of what's available, please contact me!
