MAKE SURE YOU GET GOOD CONTRACTORS AND YOU BUY WHERE YOU COULD SELL IT FOR MORE IN TOMORROWS MARKET.

Hi Mick,

This is a tough one, in that there are a lot of variables. Not least of which is the quality of the work you have planned for your renovation. A general rule of thumb is to estimate $50,000 per floor. My wife and I just gutted two floors and spent in excess of that amount, but we used only licensed people and hired an architect. If you like shoot me an email and I can give you a few recommendations for contractors that are very good and very trustworthy.

Good luck with your renovation,

Jim
