Las Estrellas is North of the heart of Santa Fe vs. Rancho Viejo which is south of I25. Las Estrellas is a beautiful planned type community that encompasses about 550 acres. It includes townhouses, condominiums and custom designed homes. The new Thornburg office complex is in fact almost walking distance from Las Estrellas. The current listings in Las Estrellas range in price from $395,000. to close to a million. It's only about a 5-8 min. drive to the Plaza so its really centrally located yet far enough away from the hustle & bustle of town.

Rancho Viejo has a website http://www.ranchoviejo.com which provides you an overview of the plans as well as all the amenities. It's also a great planned type community which includes townhouses as well as custom type homes. Current homes on the market in Rancho Viejo range in price from under $200,000. to over $800,000. It's located very close to the Community College which is one of the best community colleges in the country.
