I have many exclusive garden coops in Howard Beach that allow pets.

in addition to the aforementioned, pretty much vineyard gardens and lindenwood gardens as well are the only garden apartments that allow pets

Yes it is true. Some of the building, and i can't remember which, may allow a small dog. Most co-op buildings in general are not pet friendly.

Most condo and coop buildings take enforcement of whatever pet rules they have pretty seriously. I am also a pet owner and understand. Since finding a co-op unit that will accommodate a pet (particularly a dog) most that will might limit size and breed. Making the search more challenging.I try to do as much as I can to help distressed Sellers and Buyers, but I need to do all I can to help these animals too.If you have any questions please feel free to call.Fajardo 347 932-0609

There are some garden co-ops. that take dogs. The Vineyard gardens is one of them. These co-ops usually

are court entrances and are 2 stories high.

Many but not all co-ops have restrictions on pets. Some will allow cats, some will have a size limit on dogs, others will exclude certain breeds. Each co-op is different.

A good agent will be able to show you those co-ops that allow dogs. For example, Vineyard Gardens allows small dogs under 25 pounds.

Good Luck with your search.

Generally most co-ops don't allow pets, and some may only allow cats; therefore consider working with an agent of your own, also check http://www.mlsli.com
