I am interested in buying home around 300K in good area with less crime near boca raton fl. Any suggestions? Thanks Vino

Look at Pradera. It is an 'all ages' gated community on Powerline Rd. and Verde Trail (just souuth of Glades Rd). Homes are all 2 or 3 bedroom single famila villa's. Non guard gated and low crime rate.

Hello Vino in Crofton

While a home may have a Boca Raton mailing address, be aware there is the City of Boca Raton and the Unincorporated Boca Raton. If one resides outside of the city limits, you cannot vote in municipal elections and some/all of your services may be provided by a different agency (police, fire, trash, parks and recreation, et cetera).

Within the city limits police services are provided by the Boca Raton Police Department. Outside the limits services are with the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office. Thus when reviewing crime statistics for the City of Boca Raton, these statistics may not pertain to that of the unincorporated Boca Raton.

I happend to live in the city limits and am very pleased with the crime and safety prevention services.

All these answers are good..A good Realtor will ask you a lot of questions. After you have your financing in place ,it's time to search for the house you want, so there will be many questions like, how many bedroom, baths, one floor or two , garages, views , maybe you want something close to a main hwy, shopping, turnpike ,place of worship , etc , etc, etc. . I've lived in Florida for 28 years and in Boca for 15 ..I wouldn't want to live anywhere else . Of course I'd love to help you , but any good Realtor will do ..Good luck ..hope you find exactly wnat you want :)

Look into Parkland in Broward County, just south of West Boca. Welling is also good, as noted.

Of course Boca Raton meets those criteria. Choose between East Boca and West Boca.

It looks like you are from Miami and so much has to do with what you are trying to accomplish. If you are looking for a quieter, less congested, lifestyle like many I work with from Miami you might also be open to other areas of Palm Beach County with a very high quality of life. If you have some leeway on location you may want to check out Wellington where you still get amazing value in houses. Once you get to Jupiter and Juno Beach you have more expensive homes but still some great deals in this tranquil seaside location.

Whether you are looking solely in Boca Raton or just your perfect home in the Florida sun you are best suited to be working with a Realtor® who is looking out for your best interests in this constantly changing market. 1. contact your bank or a mortgage lender and get a pre-approval to determine what you can afford.
2. contact a Real Estate professional and discuss your wants and needs in a home.
3. he (she) will help you in finding an appropriate neighborhood for you and yours.
4. the agent will research appropriate communities and homes for your viewing.
6. finding a home will then become easier and more precise.
7. the contract and other happenings will take place through the Real Estate office.
8. Moving into your Dream Home will follow.
Obviously, multiple steps must take place for your subsequent purchase and move.

Hi Vino.

Boca Raton is booming with people moving here from all points around the globe. One of my buyers told me that he and is family made a pit stop here for gas and food on the way to somewhere else, fell in love with the place and never left.

If you are NOT paying cash, your first step is to speak with a mortgage broker and get a pre-approval. You will need to include that with an offer. You need to make a list, e.g. # bedrooms, pool?, pets (some have pet restrictions, some have age restrictions such as age 55 or older), water or garden view, size of lot, hoa or no hoa, clubhouse?, gated - either manned or unmanned. Clubhouse and gate costs come out of your hoa fees.

All Boca schools are A-rated, you can subscribe to crimereports.com with daily reports that you set, and watch that for a little while before making an offer, or in this fast moving market, watch it once you make the offer. You can cancel within the inspection period so make that 15 days.

BUYING A HOME (The process start with the Banker not the Realtor)

Start the process right 1st by talking to a Licensed Mortgage Professional to determine who much home you can afford and whether you are credit wordy and is there an ability to repay the loan.

As David said there are many great areas in Boca Raton.

The next thing to consider is how large of home you need for your family. Does a 3/2 work for you, or do you want something larger? Do you have pets? Some communities have strict limits on the number and size of pets. Are you only interested in gated communities or are you also considering non gated neighborhoods?

There are some great communities. I would look at mission bay, Boca square, Boca greens, Boca Madera, Wimbledon and maybe a few more. If u would like more information I would certainly be able to answer any of your questions
