I am in the process or purchasing my first home in pasco county florida but can't seen to get an estimate on
home owners insurance,, any suggestions?

who did you ask ? I'm in Massachusetts and haven't experienced any difficulty in my client's getting a condo insured. Not sure if there is some difficulty going on in florida.
FIRST ANSWER
Have your agent contact the buyer's agents of homes that have recently sold in that neighborhood and ask them to call their buyers and ask who they obtained home owners insurance from. I just did that yesterday for one of my buyers in my area.
