a reasonable/acceptable extended date that I could ask for closing. Will they delay closing? I want to include this in my offer.
A couple of things to consider. I would beware of new construction because there is so much inventory. Make sure you are represented by a Realtor who will tell you if the price you are paying is fair. Also consider the length of time you can resonably expect to live in that house. If it's less than 5 years and there is nothing but new construction as far as you can see, think again. It may be very difficult to sell and appreciation is not likely. Bottom line, hire an expert to advise you in this transaction! All the best-
Hi Needstoknow.
I agree with Naima. My rebate works great so you can break you lease and this will help you pay the lease off.
If you need help just give me a call or email.
Have a great weekend.
Jeff
Since the house is already completed, it will be pretty much impossible for the builder to wait more than 30-45 days to close on it. See if the builder will pay for the remainder of your lease term. If you think the home is worth it, break the lease.
If you need a Realtor to help you in the negotiation, give me a call...
