I am getting ready to move to PSL from Roanoke VA. I am a nurse, and am hoping for a transfer through my

company. However, that may not be available. I know having a job when I ge there is best, but with 10% down, good credit and money in the bank, can I still qualify for a loan if job looking?

Good Morning!!

Martin Memorial Hospital from Stuart, FL has a new construction in the Port Saint Lucie, Tradition area. It is just off I-95, Gatlin Blvd next to the Torry Pines Bio Lab.

A wonderful location and I suspect many job opportunities for nurses.

Call me for properties for Sale in the immediate area.

Windor1,

The mortgage guidelines are constantly changing so always best you seek a mortgage expert early in your home buying process. As the guidelines stand TODAY, and if you plan to occupy this home as your principle residence, the answer to your question is, yes you can buy a house with less than 10% down. Historically, as long as you were employed in the same line of work with little lapse of employment, you met the employment requirement for your next mortgage. I do recommend you contact mortgage representative(s) for mortgage qualification.

Meanwhile, if you would like automatic emails that link you to the available properties that meet your criteria, contact me and I will simplify your house search with the most up to date information about available homes.

I can also introduce you to mortgage representatives in the area you are considering moving to.

Best wishes.

I realize transferring is best, but there may not be available jobs with HCA to transfer to. I am willing to transfer to an even lower position to stay with this company, and if not -- I plan to send resume's out to all medical facilities and physians offices before I move. What I want to know is, is it possible, with good credit, 10% down, and money in the bank (at least 1 years salary) to get a mortgage loan, if job looking?

Windsor1, having a job in this market is paramount for obtaining financing. There is a lot of opportunity here for nurses, either in Port Saint Lucie or Stuart! For you it should be a great time to relocate. If i can be of service, please let me know.
