I am closing on a home in 2wks and I am waiting on my appraisal. The home did once have a garage but has now
been converted into a family room. How much do you think that will knock off of the value of the home?

FIRST ANSWER
Most buyers want a garage. If the house square footage is more than the surrounding houses there should not be too mch of a price cut. But a garage is very important to most homeowners so they have someplace to put their stuff and a car. Good Luck hope you closed. Rosaline Leis
