Is the home priced for the condition of the property? Is it a regular sale or short sale/bank owned? Being a Chino Hills resident I can speak to what an incredible city this is to live in. What area is this home located? If you can buy this home for a GREAT price ...you have to remember that this will keep your taxes lower than if you bought a more expensive home with everything done. It has to be a trade-off. I know some local contractors that can help you with the remodel. Just let me know if you'd like their information for an estimate on work. That is what I have done for clients.... I have a professional come in and give an estimate of work to remodel as my client would want so they know what they are getting into. Let me know if I can be of further assistance! Thanks

Hi Rita:

When you purchase a home your realtor should be able to help you by giving you comparisons of homes that have sold in the area with similar amenities. If the home is what you want and doesn't need the work completed to move in, it is just what you want then the changes might not effect the price. You can always add and change accordingly. Many times people's tastes on decorating and amenities are different, the next person could come along and love the way the house is. Ask your realtor to give you comparisons. How is it priced compared to other homes you have looked at? Is the home where you want to live, it is easier to change paint then to move. Is it an REO? Is it a short sale? Is it overpriced? Is it underpriced for the area and market? All of those things are what is important and without seeing and knowing where the house is, it is impossible to know the answer but your Realtor should be able to give you a good idea and the comparable sales to explain their answer. That’s what we do.

If you don’t have a realtor, let me apply for the job.

Good luck

I am confused on what your question is? Is this a question in regards to a property and what a realtor would think it is worth? Or how to rennovate with loans such as 203k?

More info please!
