Basically, you need a credit score of 620 or higher and your income to debt ratio must be in correct proportion. Example is $1000 income and $600 in bills would not you you a loan.

FIRST ANSWER

in this market you need a minimum 620 for an FHA with 3.5% down although some lenders can do a 580-585. For a conventional with 10-20% down you need a 720.
