Good Morning Rick, I hope some of our warm sunshine comes your way today in N.J. I think I heard it's going back up in the 80's this weekend. I remember when I moved to Ft. Myers in 82. It was like a different world then and has changed dramatically since. More roads, office buildings, restaurants and of course people. In season traffic doesn't seem to be as bad this year. If you are going to call Ft. Myers home then you might as well get your chunk of waterfront. I can get you into FMB for under 300K now. If you would like to access the MLS as a courtesy you may have your very own search and save by going to http://www.A59976.listingbook.com. Let me know If you would like me to preinspect any of the properties you like by just dropping me a direct email from right there. Let me know how I can help you find the right home. I have saved a long list of 3/2/2 homes with great amenities including a fenced yard when you are ready.

Good Afternoon Rick - Time couldn't be better on your side than it is now! As you may be aware, we have had quite a bit of media coverage about all of the foreclosures here this past year, so it is definitely a buyers market! South Fort Myers has faired better than some of the other areas in Lee County as far as property values. The most important questions you need to ask yourself is what your criteria is going to be down the road. Do you want a single family home, a condo, a manufactured home? How many bedrooms and baths do you require? How many levels? One of the most important questions to ask if you are going to buy in a community are what the HOA fees are and what do they include. This will affect your monthly payments quite a bit. I have been selling in Lee County for a while now and I enjoy working with buyers to find homes that fit their criteria. It has grown quite a bit since you lived here in 1985. A lot of new developments have been created with so much more choices. It all depends on your budget! If you would like to get specific with your home search, I would be more than happy to send any homes currently listed via email to help get you started.
Sincerely,

Rick, I would suggest the area around Parker Lakes for one, by Gladiolous. We have lots of possibilities in South Fort Myers but I would need a price range. Calusa Palms, Venitian, laguna lakes, Colony Lakes are a few good ones. Others may also work but its also aquestion of how large are your pets and if you prefer a single home.
You may get your own pass to the MLS and search all properties available with your own pass with listingbook.Just click on the link: http://lloydnswfloridahomes.listingbook.com/
