you still have two weeks left. Please do not get stressed out.
If your contract stipulates the repair to be done BY CLOSE OF ESCROW, there is time left to get it done. Just keep all parties engaged and on task. .
Congrats on your new home, you should be fine.
Sometimes repairs are requested to be completed BY the close of escrow, so if you still have 2 weeks to go, they should be completed in time, if the seller agreed to do them. Also you will have to do a final walk thru, sometime a few days before the scheduled close, and if they aren't complete by that time, you may have to have your agent give the seller a notice to perform. Sometimes repairs are agreed to , based on the buyer also removing the contingencies for the loan, or other contingencies that may be on the purchase offer. Has your agent done this? Sometimes it seems like a catch 22, but your agent is the best person to be asking this question. They should be finding out for you,the client whom they are representing, what is going on with the repair issues.
To answer your second question, if the repairs were required by your lender, then it could possibly delay your closing if they are not completed in the proper time frame. But again, I urge you to check with YOUR agent , as to the status of the situation.
Thanks and good luck
