How to file a complaint on a realtor?

Hello CC and thanks for your post.

The best place to begin would be to report the problems directly to the broker (employer) of the Realtor. Contact the main office where the Realtor works, and ask to speak to the broker. Once you have the broker, feel free to let him or her know of the problems you've encountered. The broker may assist you by changing the Realtor assigned to you or will take action to discipline the agent within the company.

If the matter is criminal in nature or a violation of the Realtor's code of ethics, you may wish to report the problem directly to the Board of Realtors in Irvine to file a complaint and to the California State Department of Real Estate at http://www.dre.ca.gov.
