How safe is it buy a house in Mountain House ?
I saw a model home/5br/4 bt offered for for 500K - while I think the house per se is beautiful, I am concerned that the market in 95391 is quite crashed.

Safe as in safety, is not an issue. Mountain house is amongst the safest places to live in Ca. If you are referring to price, and weather or not it will continue to drop, no one really knows. Mountain House is a commute location for Pleasanton and Livermore so it will hold value better than most. Find a house you like and make an offer! Best of Luck! The Coach

You have provided too little info to be useful even to an agent with the resources to answer your question. There is some speculation that a general decline will sweep the nation, but the jury is still out on that. Inflationary pressures may still counterbalance the near recessionary trend affecting our economy. You should make a buyer's agency agreement with a local REALTOR member of the MLS for an answer to questions related to current values and recent trends. None of that will open any windows to the future, but it should reveal any latent potential for further decline in values.
