DB, Home Buyer in Fort Lauderdale, FL

How much would insurance cost per year for a 625 sq. ft condo in Fort Lauderdale on the Intracoastal. Looking for $$-figure answer please!

Master policy covers wind mitigation. I know there are still many variables here, but just want a BALL PARK figure. The property itself is valued at $145,000. Thanks so much!!

It should be between $350-$500 per year, depends on amount of content coverage you choose , location ( east of I95 will require windstorm) and availability of Hurricane impact windows.

A few hundred $$. All depends on your "variables", i.e. the contents of your condo.

It looks like you are looking for an estimate for an HO6 Insurance Policy which will cover the inside of your condo and is required by most of the Homeowners Associations. There are mainly Realtors and Lenders on this sight so you will need to contact an Insurance Agent to answer your question. There are a lot of factors when estimating the cost of insurance, such as whether or not your condo has Hurricane Impact Windows, which will reduce the price of the policy quite a bit. I would recommend that you call more than one insurance company and get multiple quotes.

Like we tried yesterday to answer the question, you should contact an Insurance Agent.

As stated before the ball park figure should be between $450-550 depending on the coverage you chose.
