question is do you think more or less people feel the same way as you?
I sell homes with things like a bidet, or extra laundry room, ect.. the list goes on..
The idea that a pool adds value is like saying that any other non-conventional item adds value..
If the buyer doesn't want or need your pool what value have you add.
That is why it is difficult to assess a 3 car garage in an neighborhood with only 2 car garages...
So the answer is YES if the buyer finds value in having a pool but you might just as easily turn off buyers that don't want one...
Good question. Of course it varies by the size and type of pool and extras (water falls, spas, size, materials etc)...however a safe "average number is $7,000.
